Tradewinds provides you with quality tea and coffee that is a pleasure to drink and directly connects you to the people who have laboured to grow, process and pack it. Our experience over more than 30 years shows us that fairer trading gives producers and their children the opportunity to improve their lives. We are a volunteer based, not-for-profit company so our profits fund targeted projects that open new opportunities for producer communities.

Taking Fair Trade Further

The people who produce our tea and coffee work very hard for very little income. We want them to get a fairer reward for their labour. Tradewinds sell tea and coffee that is fair trade, organic and processed and packed where it is grown because it delivers:

higher incomes to growers
new markets for small grower communities
more employment and new processing skills, especially for women
the incentive for sustainable agriculture

Supported by a web of volunteers, like minded people, organisations and businesses, Tradewinds sells tea from Sri Lanka and Australia, and coffee from East Timor, PNG, and Columbia, developing long lasting relationships with our producer partners along the way.

Since its beginnings as a company in 1977, Tradewinds has delivered $1million+ of profits to support social development projects in Sri Lanka, East Timor and the Pacific.
