Compared to conventional dairy products, organic dairy products have higher levels of omega 3 fatty acids, lower levels of inflammatory omega 6 fatty acids, no bovine growth hormone and antibiotic residues, and higher levels of ALA and CLA. This is due to the fact that organic dairy products come from grass-fed cows that have been allowed to eat their natural food and have not been given pesticide-laden GMO grains that conventional dairy cows are given. Grass-fed cows are happier as they are treated humanely and are allowed space to roam.
