We at Hemp Gallery utilise Hemp products to carry our message of environmental sustainability.
We specialise in 100% Hemp and Hemp blend fabrics for commercial and domestic interiors, soft furnishings, upholstery and bare currently sourcing fabric for apparel. We work closely with The Eco Collective, a group of textile designers with integrity to create ranges of Australian printed fabrics, only using water based eco dyes. These fabrics are dyed and printed to clients’ specifications.
At Hemp Gallery we also manufacture, wholesale and retail our exclusive Australian-made Hemp bed linen. Hemp is an ideal fabric for bed-linen because of it’s durability, breathability, natural insulation and anti-bacterial qualities.
Hemp is grown without agricultural chemicals such as insecticides, herbicides, pesticides and fungicides, has modest water requirements and leaves the soil in good condition for following crops. Furthermore hemp fabric is processed using non toxic substances unlike fibres such as cotton and bamboo.
In addition to containing no residual agricultural toxins, Hemp fabric outperforms other "natural" and synthetic fabrics in the areas of strength, durability, insulation, breathability, U.V. resistance, absorbency and hypo allergenic qualities. These qualities make hemp an ideal fabric for Hemp Gallery’s range of Australian-made baby products.
Hempseed oil, with high levels of protein and Omegas 3 & 6 in perfect ratio, has long been highly regarded as a moisturiser and Hemp Gallery have produced their own range of Australian made plant-based skin care products utilizing this highly nutritious oil.
